3D Max

The goal of NASA’s Digital Learning Network is to enhance NASA’s capability to deliver unique content by linking customers with one or more NASA Centers in an integrated fashion.

The team at Scecon developed this conceptual set which was later built out and used for several years. Another member of the team designed, modeled, and lit this structure. I worked on the textures, renderings, and post production of the imagery.

This trade show exhibit was designed for a promotional campaign at the 2008 National Religious Broadcasters Convention, March 8-11 in Nashville, TN.

I worked as part of a team on the concept, 3D modeling, and production of this exhibit. I also created the collateral materials and kiosk display for the monitor.

Working here at Scecon, I have picked up lots of ‘real-world’ knowledge. I would like to pass some of this along to you, boys and girls.

Today we will be learning about backgrounds for television broadcasting. A 15 black/85 white mix will appear white on camera. A pretty standard range is 40%-60% black. Then they can do all sorts of fancy lighting and whatnot to it to their hearts content.

So there that is.
