Summer Pro League

August 24th, 2006

Summer Pro League

CSS, HTML

The Southern California Summer Pro League is the premier summer showcase for basketball’s greatest teams and showmen. The League is the sole summer stage upon which both current NBA stars and undiscovered players perform. It is the medium through which both raw and experienced basketball talent can maintain and hone their skills through competitive league play.

I developed the template for the SPL’s home on the internet. After the design was in place and built in HTML and CSS, I handed it off to other team members for the backend support. I currently do not maintain the page in anyway.

My Fifth Portfolio

February 3rd, 2006

Portfolio 5

My fifth iteration of an online portfolio. I have moved back to HTML for this one. I wanted it to be quick to load and easy to navigate using the browsers forward and back buttons. I also wanted to allow visitors to bookmark individual parts of the site. View portfolio #5.

A Sound of Thunder Teaser

June 23rd, 2005

A Sound of Thunder

CSS, HTML

Teaser site developed for the movie A Sound of Thunder while working with Warner Bros. I also created the wallpapers and buddy icons found on this site. I did not create the flash version of this site, but I did edit and update content within it.

University of Cincinnati Co-op

July 6th, 2003

UC Co-op

ASP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript

Cooperative education (co-op) is the practice of alternating students’ studies with paid, professional work related to their major. This site was designed to meet the needs of the important constituents of the co-op triad (the student, the employer and the university).

I created this site while working for the University of Cincinnati. There is also a second section of this site, only accessible to current students unfortunately, which contains educational materials to enhance student’s on-the-job experiences. Upon login, required objectives, projects and reports are available.

This is an archived version of the site that I built.

Global Applications

Global Applications

ASP, CSS, HTML

A simple front end site put together for a small freelance group I was working with at the time. I also helped with the back end of the site, which included a file manager and tech desk for our clients.

My Second Portfolio

October 12th, 2002

Ok, another not so great example of web design, but at least it is better than my first attempt.

This one takes a lot of the content from the first portfolio and packages it up a little nicer. This was created in 2002, I was a sophomore in college. I had just begun to learn Flash and I remember being ecstatic that I was able to create the rotating menu at the top of the page (completely key-framed, I had no idea was actionScript was at the time beyond the stop() command).

Anyways, on with the show!

My First Portfolio

May 9th, 2002

Wow!

Talk about awesome!

Frames! Tiled wallpaper! Boring Flash navigation! Yellow text!

This was my first stab at creating a digital portfolio. It was 2002. I was a sophomore in college at the time. Not really sure what I was going for here, but I don’t think I kept it for very long.

I am including this not because I think it is good work, but because I think it is interesting to see a progression of skill over time. Hope you enjoy it!

View the masterpiece.
